hi there and welcome to my shop. i'm julia elise.
my goal is for you to feel beautiful, healthy, and strong in your body and in your environment. i believe that self-care is community care, and that when we care for ourselves we are more able to show up as our full selves to care for those around us and build the better world that we all want & deserve to live in.
i use she/her pronouns and i live and work on unceded dakota/anishinaabe land (most commonly known as minneapolis, mn). i am committed to interrupting systemic white supremacy and undoing the systems of racism and oppression that exist all around and within us. i believe that all Black Lives Matter.
i currently redistribute 5% of all sales to nonprofit organizations, individuals, and businesses in need through my tzedakah program. tzedakah is a hebrew word for charity and justice, and in judaism we believe it is our ethical and moral obligation to work towards justice for all people, beings, and our planet. our liberation is bound in the liberation of others. i hope to increase this percentage in the future and this is just one element of the anti-racist and anti-capitalist work that i am doing on an ongoing basis as a small business owner and human being.

all julia elise products are handmade by me in my home studio in minneapolis. because of the small-batch nature of my products, some variation in color, texture, and fragrance may occur.
organic healing herbs, natural beeswax, pure & natural oils, shea & cocoa butter, and essential oils are just some of the key ingredients in my products. many of the ingredients i use are organic, and all are free of synthetic ingredients and chemicals.
i am honored to be in partnership with pluck flower farms, a woman-owned farm in milaca, mn as a local source for many of the herbs that i use in my products.

orders are shipped first class or priority usps (depending on weight). if you would like faster shipping, please contact me and i will be happy to accommodate your needs. i will ship internationally to any country. please contact me for specific shipping costs. i am also happy to arrange free local pickup if you are in the twin cities area.
